"My internship at Green Quarter was a great experience and learning curve that I really enjoyed. worked on a simulation software to run daylight simulations, which gave me an insight of the "Science behind Light" and how to conserve energy usage by implementing passive daylighting. My other tasks included compilation of reports that had to be submitted to GBI in order to score points for a particular building and I also reached out to developers to engage with them and work towards a sustainable future.

The experience acquired at GQ did not only let me apply my knowledge on energy efficiency, it gave me a first-hand look at how the simulations are run and the stages of analysing the data gathered.

The team at GQ is amazing. The close mentoring and assistance from my colleagues was also a highlight of my experience. Most importantly, the internship has given me a better outlook into what I would want to pursue in the future."
